Infosys will be prepare for the lab by, December 19 thousand online courses  will also be available .

Software company Infosys will soon set up the state’s first Makers Lab at AKTU i.e. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University. Through this lab, the students of the state including those of the university will get a chance to connect with modern technology and science. Students will be able to give real shape to their projects in this lab. Whereas students will not have to pay any fee for this. Along with this, about 19 thousand online courses will also be available. which students can read.

On Tuesday, a three-member team of experts from Infosys reached the university to set up the lab on the AKTU campus. Along with seeing the space for the lab, the team also held a meeting with the officials and discussed its outline. The lab will be made by December.

Students from 6th to PG will be able to avail

Under the direction of Vice-Chancellor Professor JP Pandey, students from class VI to PG will be able to take advantage of the lab and online courses from the company. About 19 thousand online courses related to technical, nontechnical and business communication, science will be available for the students. At the same time, the lab will have Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotics and 3D Printers. Where students can work on their projects. Students will also get the help of experts.

In the first phase, the beneficiary children of DG Shakti will be trained. Such labs are established in few places including Bangalore. Apart from this, Lab on Wheel will also be started by the company to make children aware of technology and science in far-flung villages.

Deputy Registrar Dr.RK Singh and Dr.Anuj Kumar Sharma took the team on a tour of the university. The team reached the library first. See the location and other facilities here. After this the team also went to the Center for Advanced Studies. The team members here were quite impressed by seeing the various labs.
