  • Startup India:

  • Stand-Up India:
    • Launched in 2016, this scheme focuses on promoting entrepreneurship among women, Scheduled Castes (SCs), and Scheduled Tribes (STs) by providing bank loans for setting up greenfield enterprises.
  • National Entrepreneurship Awards:
    • These awards were introduced to recognize and honor outstanding young entrepreneurs and startups in India. They aim to inspire and motivate others to pursue entrepreneurship.
  • Atal Innovation Mission (AIM):
    • AIM was launched in 2016 to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among school and college students. It aims to foster innovation and startup ecosystem at the grassroots level.
  • Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY):
    • Although not exclusively for entrepreneurship, PMKVY aims to impart skill development training to youth across various sectors, including those relevant to starting and managing businesses.
  • Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP):
    • This scheme has been in operation for several years and aims to generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas by promoting micro-enterprises through credit facilities.
  • NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP):
    • WEP was launched to promote women entrepreneurship and provide a platform for networking, mentorship, and access to capital.
  • MSME Sambandh:
    • It’s an online portal introduced to monitor the implementation of the Public Procurement Policy for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
  • National Mission on Cultural Mapping and Roadmap:
    • This initiative focuses on creating an ecosystem that enables artists, artisans, and craftsmen to become self-reliant entrepreneurs.
  • Innovate India:
    • It’s a platform launched by the NITI Aayog to showcase, mentor, and guide innovators and entrepreneurs.
