In New Delhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is set to initiate the choice-filling phase for the third round of Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission (UPTAC) counselling 2023 for BTech and BArch starting tomorrow. Participants in the third round of UPTAC counselling 2023 can make their selections via the official website uptac.admissions.nic.in.
Today marks the final day for candidates allotted seats in round 2 of UPTAC 2023 counselling for BTech and BArch to complete the online willingness form, including the options to freeze or float, and submit the seat acceptance fee. For unreserved and OBC category candidates accepting seats allotted in the second round, the seat acceptance fee is Rs 20,000, while candidates from the SC and ST categories will need to deposit Rs 12,000.
According to AKTU, candidates contemplating the withdrawal of their admissions and allotted seats in the second round of UPTAC counselling for BTech and BArch programs will receive a refund of Rs 15,000 for unreserved students and Rs 9,000 for reserved candidates.
The seat allotment results for the third round will be released on September 26 by the authority. AKTU has scheduled a total of six counseling rounds. In rounds 4 to 5, candidates will not be given the option to select their preferences. As per AKTU’s guidelines, admission to BTech programs in the state will be determined by the student’s performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance 2023, while BArch admissions will be based on the results of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2023).
