“Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, also known as AKTU, received significant relief from the Supreme Court on Wednesday. A division bench comprising three judges has instructed the university to finalize both the affiliation process and all associated admission procedures by October 15.”
“The commencement of admission counseling has been delayed due to 749 educational institutions not yet affiliating with AKTU. This delay had put the future of over 1.5 lakh students in jeopardy. Previously, the Supreme Court had rejected an earlier petition from AKTU.”

“Prof. JP Pandey, the Vice-Chancellor of AKTU, expressed immense relief for the students in light of the court’s decision. AG Venkataramani, appearing on behalf of AKTU in his personal capacity, played a pivotal role. The counseling schedule will be released promptly following the decision. Additionally, the government is expediting the affiliation process. The university is committed to commencing the new session’s academic activities by finalizing all admission procedures before October 15.”
