The Supreme Court has granted relief to AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University), paving the way for the commencement of the admission process in approximately 750 colleges.
AKTU has received a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court, clearing the path for the commencement of admissions in approximately 750 technical colleges affiliated with the university.
After a Wednesday hearing in the Supreme Court regarding AKTU’s petition for an extension of the affiliation deadline in the interest of students, the decision has secured the future of approximately 1.5 lakh students.
The counseling process for students seeking admission in the upcoming academic session will only begin after the extensions for affiliations are approved. Originally, the deadline for colleges to obtain affiliation was July 31st. However, AKTU has requested an extension of this date to facilitate the commencement of the admission process by granting affiliations to the colleges.
